Murph an MVP Finalist

Daniel Murphy (Englewood) had a stellar first season with the Washington Nationals, picking up where he left off in October 2015 for the post-season New York Mets. He was named an National League MVP finalist today with the Cubs Kris Bryant (voting took place before the post-season started) and the Dodgers rookie sensation Corey Seager. Murphy finished second in batting average and led the league in on-base percentage. The winner will be announced next week.
